Project Kelvin is a bold and highly innovative communications investment that connects Northern Ireland to North America, UK and mainland Europe. The network also connects towns and cities within the North of Ireland, including Armagh, Ballymena, Belfast, Coleraine, Londonderry, Omagh, Portadown, Strabane, Letterkenny, Castleblayney, Dundalk, Drogheda and Monaghan.
Tibus is proud to be the market partner for Project Kelvin and Hibernia Atlantic.
Hibernia Atlantic was selected by the Department of Enterprise, Trade & Investment (DETI) for Northern Ireland and the Irish Department of Communications and Natural Resources (DCENR) to deploy Project Kelvin, a €30m investment in communications infrastructure for Northern Ireland. This network was made live in 2010 and since then has been a huge success for both the indigenous and FDI inward investment clients.
Tibus use Hibernia Atlantic extensively for our own network requirements and for providing service our customers. We currently offer managed network solutions in conjunction with Hibernia, using the Kelvin capability.
These range from modest connections from NI to London, large connections to USA and to mid range connections to Dublin.
